PVC SAFETY COATED GLASS BOTTLES (Type III Glass)
PVC coated glass bottles are the most common glass type for the added protection they provide to the contents inside. Safety coated containers are used for the packaging of hazardous chemicals such as acids, solvents, and other potentially dangerous products. The plastisol coating provides safety in handling, filling, and shipping such materials. Their protective coating gives them a unique feel to the touch and enhanced grip – both are pluses in nearly every application. Bottles used for this purpose are typically constructed of Type III glass and are used extensively in UN combination packaging for shipping hazardous/dangerous goods.
