Fibre drums/Cardboard Barrels are a great way to package specific types of products especially those that may need resistance, heat and cold. Fibre packaging is a good sustainable packaging solution due to its low energy manufacturing process and the use of renewable raw materials.
Fibre drums manufacturers produce drums to order in a variety of sizes ranging from 6.5 gallons to 75 gallons. Fibre drums are available with fiber, plastic or steel covers which are held in place with a metal locking ring. Plastic covers are available with 2 inch and 3/4 inch NPT threaded openings.
When combined with plastic liners, fibre drums can be used for liquid and semi-liquid products. In addition, fibre drums can be approved for UN rated products for packaging groups I, II and III.
